What Is Proximity Key?

A proximity key (also called Push-to-Start, Keyless Go, Intelligent Key or Push Button Start.Keyless Access.Keyless Entry) is a little device that enables a keyless entrance and ignition mechanism in your vehicle.
When owner is within the relevant distance, the smart-key transmit audio and infrared frequency waves with your immobilized computer to lock and open doors and trunk and even to turn on the car engine having the key in the pocket.
In 1998, Mercedes-Benz was the first car manufacturer to present this system in the market.
Presently, auto owners can take advantage of push 2 start ignition and keyless entry devices on nearly all auto motives and use functions like motor vehicle counter theft protection, mirror adjustment, power windows, remote start and many more.
